I learned a lot about AI and how completive the market it. but you can make a lot f money in the market.
Today I learned how to write or present when asking for a grant. things like letters of recommendation are helpful and its good to get those in advance.
today I watched a 20 minute interview process and it really gave me more perspective on what to expect. since I never been to a job interview this prepared me more. I paid attention to the kind of questions that were asked.
Tody I completely an assignment that was about how much a company that I wanted to start or an idea for a company I had. I wrote about a baking company that I wanted to start. although the market for this is very hard because many people are staring it now, I would still want to give ir a shoot. my cousins would be the ones helping me and I would make these desserts out of my own kitchen, which is my favorite part about this idea. you don't need a while full scale kitchen. the start up most wouldn't be much because the supplies aren't much is its a lot of repurchasing that I would have to do.
today I learned a lot about selling art online and how to use social media to expand your business. I learned how important a website is even if you sell through other medias. I also learned a lot about the scams that can happen and what's the best way to get paid and sell without getting scammed. Iv always thought about selling party favors to people through Etsy. all the videos I watched defiantly gave me many tips on what I should do.
Although I did watch a lot of videos today, one video that stuck out to me was the one on how people don't change. Because at the end of the day one job isn't going to change a person behavior about anything and exacting more from them would just disappoint you.
today I watched a lot of videos on 3d printing and its soo cool.
today I learned about many things but my favorite was about the type of people who are worth hiring. No boss wants to be stuck with a person who hates working. Although the worker might be mad, that doesn't matter you have to do what is best for your job. I also leaned a lot about graphic design and if I'm being honest I don't think that type of job is for me. The website and the process is very confusing to me and the software used is confusing too.
Today I learned about getting the right amount of funding for my company. When asking for funding I never knew that asking for too little money would be a problem. However I learned that that can give the investor the impression that you don't know what you're talking about and are under qualified.
My favorite thing I learned today was about graphic design and ways you can create your own logo. In high school I once had a project where I had to make an ad and logo for a made up product that I came up with. I worked on the logo for 1 week because I had no experience. After watching the videos I know now there are so many website that allow you to create a logo however you want. I also saw how people make their own logos by drawing but I personally am not that creative so I don't think I would be able to completely something up completely by scratch. Websites like Wix are perfect for me because you can create your design digitally and not have to draw it out. I also learned about co owners which I personally would not be a part of. I like working on my own time and having most creative control of things and the idea of replying on someone or having someone rely on me stresses me out. I also believe that two people can never see complete eye to eye which makes it hard to run a successful business. I do believe that some people can be co owners you just have to find the person who fits you perfectly.
Today I learned about knowing the market that you're in and possible back up plans in case something happens to your company. For example during the pandemic many companies has to close down because they were prepared for a pandemic. There has to be a way your company can continue so that you don't go bankrupt. Also make sure your idea for your company will last a couple years and not something that just became popular.
Today I learned a lot about what tasks are actually worth my time and money. things that take up a lot of time and are easily done by other people, I should not be doing. I also learned about how to spend my money. I shouldn't spend my money buying things full price when I can easily get it for a better price through talking with the seller. I learned a couple tricks about how to bargain which I definitely didn't know about. The way you bargain has a lot to do with the kind of seller you are confronted with. how desperate are they to sell and not waste their time.
Today I learned a lot about how to perfect my resume and the right to present yourself to people when applying to a job.
